Silver Inlay
i just got a prince lighter it has a gazelle on it. how old is it?
It is silver and has two pat. numbers on it top. One is 412770 the bottom one is 234754 it also has kbl and the #500 it is about 1and 3/4 in long and is about 1 & 3/8 tall. Where your thumb presses down it has black inlay. Any help would be great. thanks.
Wow! Obscure, much? I only found two of them on eBay and neither applies to your model. Prince lighters are relatively rare and it will take a lot of research on your part to even find one similar in design to yours.
You gave great information. If only the information were there to be found! I can't find anyone who specializes in the Prince line that could help you out. There is a series reissues from the 1960s that go for about 50 bucks a pop, but I found no years mentioned other than those.
Your best bet is to just Google a few hours (or a few months) away to find out where they show up. Continue to search eBay as well.
