Is it OK to strength train two days in a row?

I was wondering if I should do two days in a row then a rest day and then then two more days in a row or if I should just do 1 workout every other day? which is better to gain the most muscle?

You can work out everyday you should rotate the body parts though; so if you work you abs one day skip the next and come back to them on the third day. So one day rest for the muscles.
