Stones Ring
A ring with the inscription 18KGERSC means what? Would the stones in the ring be real?

Wide Band, 3 rows of stones on each side, a good sized stone set on the top. Under the 3 rows is some kind of a gold covering. 48 small stones, 1 large single stone with 6 prongs.

"18KGERSC ", in one straight line, just like that???

In that case, it is probably a "made up" stamp, just to confuse you.

There should be separate stamps, one of which is "18K", and some others, if it is gold. There could be a Date Stamp, the Artisan's own stamp and such like . . .

Try scraping the underside of the ring, rather deeply. If you hit "white" or some other color, or it changes in color after time, of after the application of an acid, then it is not gold.

You see, the answer is not all that easy, without a picture or the ring to look at and test. . . .
