what do the greeks give for a silver wedding gift?
I need to buy a present for a friend who likes Greek things.Something small and unbreakable preferably.
Having lived in Greece, there are no specific items for silver wedding anniversaries as in the UK. I lived there for ten years and do not recall any wedding anniversaries ever being mentioned!
Why not create an album of photos of their favourite places in Greece (with them in the photos if possible) as a keepsake.
Alternatively you could make a hamper of Greek delicacies or give them some euros in a Greek anniversary card for their next trip.
Or even, a special poem translated into Greek and framed?
