Emerald Engagement
can you have emerald in an engagement ring?

ok.. so i was wondering, i've been looking at engagement rings for a while. and i wanted to know if i could "replace" some of the smaller diamonds in the ring with emerald. If it was possible for the jewelers to do in both mens and woman's rings, or would i have to special order it?

Obviously the consensus is yes. You can. I work with emeralds every day and at the moment I'm sourcing two Colombian trapiche emeralds for two customers who both want them for engagement rings. That's a unique twist and a strange coincidence but they should be beautiful. Others have requested endless diamond/emerald Wedding Bands with alternating stones all the way around the band. The possibilities are endless.
